Bitget Wallet Now Supports Taiko Mainnet

Victoria, Seychelles, June 4th, 2024, Chainwire

Bitget Wallet, a leading Web3 wallet and full-stack DeFi platform, has recently added support for the Taiko Mainnet, introducing a dedicated DApp section for Taiko within the wallet’s DApp browser. Following this partnership, users will now be able to enjoy direct and expedient access to the Taiko Mainnet via Bitget Wallet’s mobile and browser extension versions, facilitating token addition, transfers, and DApp connection.

As a layer 2 rollup that leverages Ethereum’s block validators for transaction sequencing, Taiko adopts the reliability and security of the Ethereum network. The launch of Taiko’s own native token, TKO, is widely anticipated in the weeks following mainnet activation. Moving forward, Bitget Wallet aims to expand and improve its services further on the Taiko mainnet, introducing advanced Swap features and capturing market trends for users.

Supporting over 100 mainnets, Bitget Wallet facilitates seamless integration with numerous EVM-compatible blockchains through its one-click customization feature. This extensive compatibility brings a plethora of networks to new users, unlocking new opportunities and DeFi options. Bitget Wallet is also rapidly expanding its support for various other Layer 2 networks building on Ethereum, including both established and emerging solutions such as Base, Linea, and Scroll.

As of April 2024, Bitget Wallet recorded unprecedented highs for its transaction volume, surpassing even that of MetaMasks’, further cementing the wallet’s growth potential and market presence. With a global userbase of over 20 million, Bitget Wallet has taken a spot amongst the top 5 wallets in the world per user count.
